Michael Bowe, Partner and Chair of Brown Rudnick’s Litigation & Arbitration Practice Group, and Lauren Tabaksblat, Partner and Practice Group Leader of the Litigation & Arbitration Practice Group, are leading a team of lawyers in a landmark lawsuit filed against MindGeek, the parent company of tubesite Pornhub, various of its affiliates, owners, and officers, as well as Visa, on behalf of over 30 victims of child pornography, rape, and human trafficking. Filed in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, the complaint alleges that Pornhub and MindGeek knowingly profited from videos depicting rape, child sexual exploitation, revenge porn, trafficking, and other nonconsensual sexual content.
Michael and Lauren were featured in The American Lawyer Litigation Daily for their groundbreaking work on the MindGeek case.
