Partners Michael Bowe and Lauren Tabaksblat co-authored a Thomson Reuters’ Westlaw Today article looking at the COVID-19 pandemic’s immediate and long-term effects on the legal industry, including the future of the remote working environment, from the courtroom to law firms.
In the June 28 article, entitled “Germinating on What’s Next,” Bowe and Tabaksblat review their predictions from their previous two articles in 2020 and 2021, including what they got right and what they got wrong. They also explore the surprises of the “Remote Revolution” and forecast a need to balance remote and in-person practice protocols.

What we did not see was the great possibility of the Remote Revolution fundamentally changing law firm practice and dynamics.”
