Eric Finkelstein is a counsel in the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. Eric practices in the area of commercial real estate where he counsels clients ranging from developers, institutional landowners, national retailers, franchisees and closely held companies on real estate transactions with an emphasis on retail, industrial and office leasing, property acquisitions, sales and construction agreements.
A seasoned commercial real estate attorney, Eric has helped local, regional, and national businesses navigate a wide variety of complex property transactions by combining his extensive experience with in-depth knowledge of the commercial real estate landscape. Prior to joining Brown Rudnick, Eric was an associate and counsel in several well-established regional firms in the New York metropolitan area where he concentrated his practice on all aspects of commercial leasing, acquisitions, and dispositions.
Eric was invited to and attended the annual Georgetown Law Advance Commercial Leasing Institute in 2015, 2018, 2019, and 2021.

Represented a major regional property owner handling all leasing activities for over a million square feet of office and retail properties for many years.
Represented an institutional landlord in the negotiation of big-box retail leases with several national credit tenants for retail space throughout the New York City metropolitan area.
Represented both landlords and tenants in the negotiation of warehouse, cooler and freezer space leases for third-party logistics providers, national and international shipping carriers, furniture manufacturers and global food companies.
Represented franchisees and closely held companies in the leasing of retail and mixed-use space for fitness studios, daycare centers and several different franchised restaurants.
Represented a publicly traded energy sector client in its sale of a portfolio of gas stations and east coast port terminals.
