
Jonathan White is counsel in the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group. He regularly represents companies and individuals in every phase of high-stakes complex litigation on both the plaintiff and defense side. Jonathan has extensive experience in particularly complex international discovery processes and disputes in both state and federal courts. He has litigated issues of law at both the trial court and appellate levels and has also worked on a number for government and regulatory investigations.
Jonathan has experience advising global companies and their officers and directors, focusing on securities litigation, compliance counseling, and inquiries by the DOJ, SEC, and other governmental agencies and self-regulatory organizations. He also advised companies in connection with FCPA diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other investments in jurisdictions with high corruption risk and has worked with clients to implement effective post-acquisition compliance programs.
Prior to joining Brown Rudnick, Jonathan was a litigation associate at a preeminent law firm, representing global corporations, law firms, financial institutions, and select individuals in litigation and appeals, as well as before government and regulatory bodies.

In recent years, Jonathan has worked on the following matters:
Atomic Wallet in winning dismissal of a class action lawsuit alleging that the cryptocurrency wallet company was liable for hackers stealing $100 million worth of digital currency from users’ accounts.
Successful defense of shareholder derivative claims against a financial services company in the New York First Department Appellate Division.
Representation of both investor-plaintiffs and corporate defendants in federal securities fraud federal class actions.
Successful defense of multiple attorney malpractice matters, including litigation of a two-week arbitration.
Representation of a non-profit organization in a New York state defamation action.
Representation of the Board of Managers of 325 Fifth Avenue, which recovered over $20 million in damages, repairs, and other relief from the defective construction of the building and fraudulent efforts to conceal known defects.
Successful litigation of a pro bono custody trial for a domestic violence victim, alongside non-profit organization Sanctuary for Families.
